do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For
where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Verse 3: Seek First (Matthew 6:31-34 )
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or
‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your
heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his
righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do
not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has
enough trouble of its own.
Verse 4: Greatest Commandment ( Mark 12:30-31 )
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all
your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor
as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.

himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his
life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause
like the noonday sun.
Verse 9: If God is for Us ( Romans 8:28 & 31 )
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love
him,who have been called according to his purpose. What, then, shall we say
in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Verse 11: Listen to Me ( Psalm 34:11-14 )
Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,
keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.
Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
Verse 10: Fishers of Men ( Matthew 4:18-20 )
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon
called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for
they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you
fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him.
