| What better way to learn about the Tower of Babel, then to make your own tower? Use this quick tutorial to make building a tower of clay fun for all your children to participate in. |
| Tower of Babel Bible Printables This craft goes perfect alongside our Tower of Babel printables! Materials: Playdough (We used this recipe) Food Coloring Plastic Knives |
| Step 1: The first thing you need to do is make your play dough! This is a great recipe that makes soft, pliable, lasting dough. |
| Step 2: Add in some food coloring to make your dough a different color. (Keeping it natural color works for this project just fine too.) |
| Step 3: We are going to use a bit of a brick color for our tower. |
| Step 4: Time to form some bricks. Provide children with plastic knives they can use to cut out brick shapes. |
| Step 5: Once you have a few bricks, begin to form the foundation of your tower. |
| Step 6: Show children how to build upon the cracks of the previous layer. |
| Step 7: Continue to build your tower upwards. Go slow or it might get a bit wobbly. |
| All Done! Build as high up as you can with the dough you have! |
